ELTA MUSIC Solar 42N White Cream – an analogue ambient and drone synthesizer crafted for deep textural sound design, microtonal experimentation and evolving atmospheric landscapes. It features eight oscillator units: six dedicated drone voices that form dense, shifting harmonic layers, and two v/octave VCOs with waveform morphing and sub-oscillators for tonal or melodic expression. Solar 42N White Cream is a fully self-contained instrument designed for immersive, hands-on sonic exploration.

The synthesis engine includes dual 12 dB Polivoks-style filters with distortion, five LFOs, two sample-and-hold generators and a 5-step sequencer, enabling constantly moving, organic modulation. A stereo effect system using replaceable cartridges adds ambience, colour and textural character. External audio input, contact-mic preamp and envelope follower make the instrument ideal for hybrid setups and experimental signal processing.

The “White Cream” version maintains the exact same technical specifications as all other Solar 42N models. The only difference is the soft, refined cream-white finish, offering a clean and elegant visual identity for studios or live setups. Perfect for ambient artists, sound designers, experimental musicians and film composers.
