Solton Wheels Set 100

Solton Wheels Set 100 — a set of four 100 mm castor wheels (2 with brake, 2 without) for mounting into the base of Solton subwoofer and column enclosures. An 18-inch subwoofer dragged across a club or venue floor guarantees scuffed finish and a sore back for the crew. Wheels Set 100 solves this with four wheels bolted to the underside of the cabinet, letting a single person roll a cabinet weighing tens of kilos without lifting it off the floor.

Rolling Heavy Bass Without the Strain

Hybrid and dual-18" subwoofers can weigh well over 50-60 kg, and carrying that by hand across an uneven stage floor risks both injury and equipment damage. The set of four 100 mm wheels distributes the weight evenly and lets a tech push the cabinet across the stage, a ramp, or the dance floor in one motion instead of calling in two or three people to lift it.

A Stable Stage Position Thanks to the Brakes

A subwoofer that creeps during a show under heavy low-frequency vibration throws the stack out of alignment and breaks acoustic coupling with the top. The two braked wheels in the set lock the enclosure in place once it's rolled into position, while the other two unbraked wheels make it easier to steer through tight backstage passages.
