Solton SIERA SUB is an active dual-15" aaCRAAFT bass-reflex subwoofer in a 15 mm birch plywood enclosure, forming the low-frequency section of the SIERA system. The Class D amplifier delivers 1000 W continuous and 4000 W peak to both 15" drivers while simultaneously feeding the SIERA Top through the SC1 connector — one subwoofer drives a complete system without an additional amplifier. At 134 dB maximum SPL and 445 x 950 x 600 mm, the SIERA SUB sits firmly in the medium-to-large event class.
Dual 15" aaCRAAFT drivers and 1000 W — complete bass foundation for a linear source system
Two 15" aaCRAAFT drivers in a bass-reflex configuration extend to 35 Hz (-10 dB) and reach 134 dB maximum SPL at 1 m — parameters typical of high-output dual-15" cabinets in the installation and mobile touring class. Four DSP presets with independent Top and Sub level control and a Mix OUT XLR adapt the system to room acoustics without an outboard processor. Bluetooth TWS enables wireless audio streaming from a smartphone or tablet; the RCA input connects consumer-level playback devices. PowerCon In/Out supports mains daisy-chaining between multiple SIERA SUB units without power splitters. The SC1 connector with integrated cable routing links the sub to the SIERA Top with no visible cables between system components. The 15 mm birch plywood enclosure is finished in two-layer black polyurea coating; the front grille is backed with acoustically transparent, water-repellent fabric — outdoor-ready without additional covers. Optional 75 mm casters (art. 12520, 2 with brake, 2 without) and two integrated side handles cover transport. A combined sub cover and top bag set is available as art. 12643.
Fixed installation and portable PA — stack, fly and wall-mount options
The SIERA SUB serves as the base of a stack with the SIERA Top mounted directly via the SC1 connector — a compact two-component system with a minimal footprint. The TU Frame (art. 12566) allows flying two SIERA Top cabinets above the subwoofer for permanent installations in rooms where floor stands are impractical. The WB 2 dual-axis wall bracket (art. 12564) mounts the top independently on a wall when the sub is positioned separately.
