The reducer slips onto a standard 35mm stand pole and provides an M10 x 12mm threaded bolt with a large, comfortable hand knob. It acts as a bridge between a standard 35mm speaker stand and rigging hardware such as the TU Frame used to fly T-10 A or HD 101 columns, which requires a different mounting thread pattern.
Bridging incompatible thread standards
A common problem when expanding a PA system with additional rigging hardware: a standard 35mm stand pole doesn't directly mate with the M10 thread used on a TU Frame or similar mounting hardware. The reducer solves this with a single connecting piece, instead of forcing a technician to swap the entire stand for a different thread pattern or improvise a temporary mount on-site.
Quick, tool-free mounting and removal
The large, comfortable hand knob lets you fit and remove the reducer by hand, without a wrench or screwdriver — useful when a system needs to go up and come down quickly at an event. A locking screw secures the reducer firmly on the stand pole, even when working with heavier rigging hardware hung from the M10 thread.
