Lynx Studio LYN-ANM04-HD2 is a configuration of the Lynx Aurora(n) AD/DA converter in a 1U case: an LM-A4 module with 4 monitor outputs on TRS jacks. The 24-bit conversion up to 192 kHz uses the same signal path Lynx applies across the Aurora(n) series, and the configuration is built at the factory. See Lynx in our Warsaw showroom.
A ready configuration instead of assembling card by card
The Aurora(n) has four module positions, and every module has to be matched to the rest of the setup. Here you get a ready configuration: an LM-A4 module with 4 monitor outputs on TRS jacks. According to Lynx the analog outputs have a dynamic range of 120 dB (A-weighted, -60 dBFS method). The SynchroLock 2 clock with a word clock input and three outputs on BNC lets you sync the rest of the studio.
Connection to the computer or network
The LT-HD2 card connects the converter to Pro Tools HD and HDX through two mini-DigiLink ports (Primary and Expansion) to HD Core, Accel Core, HDX or Native cards, at sample rates up to 192 kHz. According to Lynx, an Aurora(n) 16 with an LM-DIG module gives up to 32 channels of conversion per card.
