Lynx Studio LYN-AND16-USB is a configuration of the Lynx Aurora(n) AD/DA converter in a 1U case: an LM-DIG module with 16 AES/EBU digital inputs and 16 outputs. The 24-bit conversion up to 192 kHz uses the same signal path Lynx applies across the Aurora(n) series, and the configuration is built at the factory. See Lynx in our Warsaw showroom.
A ready configuration instead of assembling card by card
The Aurora(n) has four module positions, and every module has to be matched to the rest of the setup. Here you get a ready configuration: an LM-DIG module with 16 AES/EBU digital inputs and 16 outputs. The digital inputs and outputs work in 24-bit format, up to 192 kHz. The SynchroLock 2 clock with a word clock input and three outputs on BNC lets you sync the rest of the studio.
Connection to the computer or network
The LT-USB card is a class compliant USB Audio 2.0 (high speed, USB 2.0) card with one USB Device port. It carries up to 16 channels at 96 kHz and up to 8 channels at 192 kHz, so the converter works without a dedicated driver on class compliant computers, and 32 and 64 bit drivers are available for Windows. The card can be updated over USB.
