Lynx Studio LYN-AND16-TB3 is a configuration of the Lynx Aurora(n) AD/DA converter in a 1U case: an LM-DIG module with 16 AES/EBU digital inputs and 16 outputs. The 24-bit conversion up to 192 kHz uses the same signal path Lynx applies across the Aurora(n) series, and the configuration is built at the factory. See Lynx in our Warsaw showroom.
A ready configuration instead of assembling card by card
The Aurora(n) has four module positions, and every module has to be matched to the rest of the setup. Here you get a ready configuration: an LM-DIG module with 16 AES/EBU digital inputs and 16 outputs. The digital inputs and outputs work in 24-bit format, up to 192 kHz. The SynchroLock 2 clock with a word clock input and three outputs on BNC lets you sync the rest of the studio.
Connection to the computer or network
The LT-TB3 card is a two-port Thunderbolt 3 expansion card that supports daisy-chaining Aurora(n) and Hilo converters, up to six certified Thunderbolt devices plus a display, on both Apple and Windows computers.
