follows its famous model in many details. The discrete Opto Compressor features a custom Cinemag input and output transformer, four premium TungSol tubes and the legendary Kenetek Opto Cell, considered by many users to be the best on the market. For decades, the 2A circuit has been popular with producers around the world, and with its unique control circuitry, it is one of the most beautiful ways to transmit signals such as vocals, basses and many other instruments that have something to say. No other plug-in and no other type of compressor can caress signals as warmly and gently as the 2A compressor. During the development of the WA-2A, Warm Audio placed great emphasis on using the same 4-tube design , two transformers and optical photocell as they were already intended in the original circuit.

big difference from the original is that the 2A compressor from the WA-2A is finally available to many users.
