Vermona DRM1 MKIV is the fourth generation of Vermona's analog drum synthesizer, continuing a line that started in the mid-1990s. It has eight instrument channels, each with its own analog circuit and its own set of knobs, and 73 controls in total for direct, hands-on sound design.

Eight channels for a full kit

The channels are Kick, Drum 1, Drum 2, Multi, Snare, Hihat 1, Hihat 2 and Clap. Together they cover kicks, toms, metallic and wood-block sounds, bongos, cowbells, zaps, snares with rimshots, open and closed hats, cymbals, triangles and claps, without samples.

MIDI and outputs for studio and live use

Play it via USB or 5-pin DIN MIDI with selectable channel and note numbers and velocity support. Each instrument has its own output/insert jack for separate processing, and the master has two mono outputs plus a headphone output. It works on a desk or, in the 19-inch rack format, in 5U of space. Mahogany wooden side panels are available as an option.
