Universal Audio VOLT 1


TheUniversal Audio VOLT 1 is a compact USB audio interface that is compatible with Macs, PCs, iPads and iPhones. One of the main features of the VOLT series is the preamp mode, which emulates the operation of the Universal Audio 610 tube preamp used by artists from Ray Charles to Van Halen. The soundcard preamp works with microphone/line/instrument levels.


UA ships the VOLT with a thoughtfully designed software package: DAW Ableton Live Lite, Softube Marshall Plexi Classic Amp/Time &amp, Tone Bundle, Celemony Melodyne Essential, Relab LX480 Essentials, Plugin Alliance Ampeg SVT-VR Classic/Brainworx bx_tuner/Brainworx bx_masterdesk Classic, UJAM Virtual drummer DEEP/virtual bassist DANDY, Spitfire LABS.


For iOS devices, the interface works without additional settings and is instantly recognised (you will need an adapter from Lightning to USB connector). This set of plug-ins is enough to assemble a demo of the material and perform a full-fledged arrangement. The interface is equipped with a TRS/XLR combo jack, headphone output, stereo line output and MIDI connectors.
