UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt 3 OCTO Custom is a Thunderbolt 3 DSP accelerator with eight SHARC processors that runs UAD plugins on Mac and Windows, freeing the host CPU. The Custom package adds a choice of three UAD plugins at registration to the Analog Classics Plus bundle.
UAD plugins on any interface
Not everyone records through an Apollo, but the UAD library of Neve, SSL, Pultec, Fairchild and other emulations is a mixing standard. The Satellite puts that processing next to any computer and any interface, and the load sits on its own DSP instead of your CPU.
Room for big sessions
Eight DSP chips handle many instances of heavy plugins in large mixes, and dual Thunderbolt 3 ports allow daisy-chaining with other devices.
