United Studio Technologies UT Tube67 is an uncompromising large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone faithfully recreating the sound of classic 1960s German studio microphones. At the heart of the UT Tube67 is a hand-crafted UT K67 capsule (34mm brass, dual backplate) featuring a 6-micron diaphragm sputtered with 24-karat gold, optimized for the microphone's operating voltage. Paired with a NOS EF86 pentode tube and Lundahl LL1538 transformers, the microphone delivers silky smooth musical character with rich harmonic saturation and velvety high-end response, perfect for vocals, strings, piano, and acoustic guitars.
The UT Tube67 features three switchable polar patterns (cardioid, omnidirectional, figure-8), -10 dB pad, 80 Hz high-pass filter, and unique Air Mod switch – a high-frequency enhancement inspired by classic 1960s recording techniques. The dedicated external linear power supply ensures stable voltage and minimal self-noise (<11 dB(A)). The microphone ships in an elegant wooden box complete with professional suspension shockmount and 7-pin cable, providing a complete professional studio solution.
