Torso Electronics S4 Black – an advanced sampler and stereo sound processor built for sound design, live performance, and granular audio work.
The S4 combines four parallel stereo tracks with a five-stage processing chain: Material, Granular, Filter, Color, and Space. That structure turns it into a flexible sound-shaping hub, from simple sample playback and recording to complex real-time transformation of textures.
Sound design without limits
The granular engine, resonant filter bank, and effects sections give you a wide palette for shaping tone, motion, and space. It suits producers who want to build ambient layers, rhythmic fragments, sample-based deformation, and evolving textures without relying on a computer.
Real-time control
The interface pairs 21 tactile RGB buttons, 9 endless encoders, and a 3.5-inch color display for fast programming and live use. Four modulators per track plus 12 macros in the PERFORM page make it easy to map parameters to practical stage control.
