Teenage Engineering PO-35 Speak is a pocket-sized vocal synthesizer and sampler that transforms your voice into otherworldly textures and melodic phrases. Equipped with a built-in microphone, 120 seconds of sampling time, 8 voice types, and 8 vocal effects, the PO-35 Speak captures, processes, and sequences vocal input with studio-grade quality—despite its compact, battery-powered form factor.

Record directly via the internal mic or through the 3.5 mm (⅛”) audio input, then manipulate your sample using one of 8 characterful voice engines—ranging from robotic and chipmunk to deep formant and vocoder-like tones. Apply 8 dedicated vocal effects such as pitch shift, formant filter, delay, and granular stutter to push your voice into experimental sonic territory. Samples can be played chromatically across the 16-button keyboard or sequenced using the 16-step sequencer with parameter locks, step multiplier, and scale/transposition controls.

Designed for portability and immediacy, the PO-35 Speak includes a built-in speaker, fold-out kickstand, and runs on 2 AAA batteries. It features Jam Sync via audio pulse for tight synchronization with other Pocket Operators and compatible gear. Whether used as a sketchpad, vocal processor, or full-fledged performance instrument, the PO-35 Speak delivers unique, usable results that stand out in any production.
