Teenage Engineering PO-32 Tonic is a pocket-sized percussion synthesizer and drum machine that packs professional-grade sound design into a minimalist, battery-powered form. Featuring 16 powerful drum and percussion presets, a 16-step sequencer with parameter locks, step multiplier, and real-time effects, the PO-32 Tonic enables intricate groove creation anywhere — from the studio to the street.

While the onboard sounds are bold and punchy, the true power of the PO-32 Tonic lies in its deep integration with the Sonic Charge Microtonic VST/AU plugin (sold separately). Using the built-in microphone, you can transmit custom drum kits created in Microtonic directly to the PO-32 via audio data transfer — unlocking virtually unlimited sonic possibilities without a computer during performance.

Equipped with a high-fidelity Cirrus Logic DAC and Silicon Labs EFM32 Gecko MCU, the PO-32 Tonic delivers crisp, dynamic percussion with exceptional clarity. It includes a built-in speaker, fold-out kickstand, and runs on 2 AAA batteries for true mobility. Jam Sync via audio pulse allows tight synchronization with other Pocket Operators and compatible gear, making it an essential rhythm module in any hybrid or portable setup.
