Teenage Engineering PO-14 sub is a portable bass synthesizer from the Pocket Operator series, offering 15 high-quality FM-based bass sounds, a simple 16-sample drum machine, 16 chord and arpeggio styles, and 16 punch-in effects. Compact and powerful, it’s ideal for mobile music production and live performance.

Launched in 2015, the Pocket Operator series quickly gained popularity among musicians for its compact design, impressive features, and sound quality. Each unit is built on a single printed circuit board using premium components, including a Cirrus Logic DAC, a powerful Knowles speaker, and a Silabs EFM 32 gecko microcontroller. Despite its size, the PO-14 sub delivers exceptional sonic performance and durability.

The built-in 16-step sequencer allows for 16 patterns that can be chained together for extended sequences. Effects like delay, bit crush, filters, and vibrato enhance creativity, while parameter lock and 16 chord/arpeggio styles provide dynamic expression. Powered by two AAA batteries, the PO-14 features a clear LCD display and a fold-out stand. It includes two 3.5 mm mini-jack ports—one for audio output and another for syncing with other Pocket Operator devices.
