Teenage Engineering EP-1320 Medieval – the world's first medieval electronic instrument, a special version of the EP-133 K.O. II, featuring 128 MB memory (96 MB ROM preloaded medieval sounds + 32 MB RAM for user), 12-track high-resolution sequencer, 9 pressure-sensitive pads with LED lighting, programmable multifunctional fader, 6 stereo/12 mono voice polyphony, 46 kHz/16-bit sampling (24-bit internal processing), built-in microphone and speaker, and a unique library of hundreds of expertly recorded medieval instruments and samples.
EP-1320 Medieval is the "instrumentalis electronicum" – the ultimate medieval beat machine offering a massive library of phrases, playable instruments, and one-shot samples from an age where darkness reigned supreme. The device contains hundreds of carefully recorded medieval instruments processed through analogue dynamics, tape, vinyl, and more: hurdy gurdys, lutes, Gregorian chants, thundering drums, punishing percussive foley effects, mouth harp, strings and bows, plus sounds of goats, cattle, peasants, witches, dragons. All handcrafted medieval instruments have been meticulously sampled and are playable across the pads or via external MIDI keyboard.
The system offers 9 built-in demo songs in medieval style (magical melodies, sultry serenades, bubonic beats) with exclusive Demo Mode that allows jamming along using sounds and instruments from four banks with punch-in effects – perfect for banquets, fetes, and tavern floors. Line input and internal microphone enable instant sampling of your own sounds in seconds. The high-resolution sequencer supports 9 user projects, up to 99 patterns per group (max 99 bars), 12 tracks per pattern with synchronization via MIDI or sync in/out.
EP-1320 features a redesigned set of send effects (7 "Master Pocus") and punch-in effects (12 "Punch-in Pocus") exclusive to the medieval edition, including: dungeon echo, torture chamber reverb, bardic ensemble, dimension expander. A brand new arpeggiator expands performance possibilities. Pressure-sensitive keys and multifunctional fader enable intuitive control through squeezing and modulation. Four control knobs provide real-time manipulation of parameters like pitch, EQ, attack, tuning. The themed medieval fantasy design in gold-green tones with esoteric Latin labels and new LED graphics transports you to unfamiliar but nostalgic times. Power via 4× AAA batteries or USB-C, built-in speaker and mic make it a fully autonomous portable instrument. In the box: EP-1320, 4 knobs, sticker pack, quick start guide.
