Teenage Engineering AMPTENNA

teenage engineering AMPTENNA is an FM radio receiver for the EP–35 speaker. You plug it straight into the EP–plug socket on top of the case and the portable guitar speaker becomes a radio.

Radio without a phone and without cables

To listen to the radio in the garden or a workshop you usually need a phone with an app, internet and pairing. The amptenna goes straight into the EP–plug socket, so once it is fitted the EP–35 picks up FM stations on its own battery, without a phone and without mobile coverage. It is also a simple way to catch the news or some music between guitar sessions.

A shape that stays out of the way

The receiver is 193 mm long and 18.8 mm in diameter and stands up from the top of the case like a small antenna, taking no room on the handle or the inputs. When you do not need it you pull it out and drop it in a bag, where it fits even next to a USB drive and a cable.
