SSQ RCAJM3 — a three-metre 2x RCA to 2x 6.3mm mono jack audio cable from the Polish brand SSQ (Sound Station Quality), connecting devices with RCA outputs - players or DJ mixers, for instance - to 6.3mm mono jack inputs on mixers or active speakers. The conductor is made from high-grade OFC copper, and the plugs are soldered with lead-free tin and silver. Gold-plated RCA connectors reduce contact corrosion, and a copper shield laid in a cross braid protects the signal along the full three-metre run. The connectors carry strain relief against the cable being pulled out, and the manufacturer backs the cable with a lifetime warranty.

Cross-braid shielding over a longer signal run

On a three-metre cable connecting a player's or DJ mixer's RCA output to a mixer's jack input, the risk of picking up noise grows with cable length, especially near power supplies and other stage gear. The cross-laid copper shielding braid in RCAJM3 blocks electromagnetic interference more effectively than the simple single-layer braid found in cheaper cables, so the line signal arrives at the jack input with no extra hum even over a longer run.

Two different connectors, one solid build

A cable connecting RCA to mono jack subjects each connector type to a different kind of stress - RCA to being pulled out at an angle, jack to bending stress when plugged into sockets on the back panel of equipment. Strain relief against the conductor being pulled out, along with hand-applied tin-silver solder, reduces the risk of a broken connection at either end of the cable, and the included velcro tie keeps the cable organized during transport between studio and stage.
