SSQ JMPJMP4 is a four metre instrument cable terminated with straight 6.3 mm mono jacks at both ends. It is made in Poland and carries a lifetime warranty.

Four metres you cannot hear

On a longer instrument lead, capacitance starts taking the top end away and a guitar pickup turns dull before the signal even reaches the amplifier. Here the conductor to shield capacitance stays under 110 nF/km, so four metres do not change the tone. A copper cross braid shield with at least 90 percent coverage keeps hum from power supplies and stage lighting out, and the flexible class 6 copper stranding survives being coiled after every rehearsal.
