SSL SIX mixer
The solid-state logic is as follows SiX a small, unique mixer for studio and live applications that convinces with the same universally popular quality of the larger and well-known SSL consoles. On the one hand, the mixer provides a multitude of connection options, such as XLR-, jack-, D25-inputs, as well as Mix Bus-, Main-, DB25- and Foldback-Outputs - thus covering many areas of application, whether recording instruments and vocals or concerts. On the other hand, it convinces with high-quality compressors - including the G-Series Bus Comp, inspired by the SL4000G console - and two Channel and EQ units with HF and LF bands. Of course, phantom power, Hi-Z switcher, clipping, pivot points and insert for external processing are also on board. In addition, there are two stereo channels, which are also controlled via 100mm faders, as well as a master section with monitor and fold-in section. The practical and flexible unit is complemented by a feedback input and built-in LEDs for both compressor and monitor sources.
Connectors for studio and live applicationsBeginningwith connectors, the SiX front panel offers two analogue mono channels with XLR sockets and jack sockets, two stereo ins via jack, external inputs, talkback input and headphone output, while the rear panel provides monitor outputs and main output, two D-Sub 25 connectors for send and return or I/O - quick and easy enough to implement a variety of configurations in daily live or studio use
