Squarp Instruments Rample Turbo is a thoroughly redesigned mk2 version of the cult 4-voice Eurorack sampler, responding to the demands of the modular community. The most significant upgrade is a complete overhaul of the DAC, signal conditioning, and analog audio paths, resulting in a far more accurate and detailed sound—especially in the high frequencies—alongside a dramatically reduced noise floor. A new, faster SD card (16 GB) ensures quicker sample loading and lower latency between trigger input and sample playback. The updated black faceplate with red, yellow, green, and blue printing makes the Turbo easy to distinguish from its predecessor.

The core concept of Rample Turbo remains brilliantly simple yet powerful: each of the four voices plays .WAV files of any length, or a layer of up to 12 samples simultaneously. Each voice features five switchable effects—Pitch, Bit Crusher, Filter, Freeze, and Levels—controlled by a dedicated CV input, totaling up to 20 effects running simultaneously across the module. The audio outputs are DC-coupled, enabling playback of recorded control voltages such as LFO waveforms. Everything is packed into a compact 14HP enclosure with an LED matrix display and encoder for intuitive navigation.
