The Sontronics OMNI-S is a dedicated, interchangeable omnidirectional capsule designed specifically to expand the capabilities of the highly regarded Sontronics STC-1 and STC-1S small-diaphragm condenser microphones. This clever accessory allows audio engineers to instantly transform their standard cardioid pencil microphone into a completely different recording tool. Featuring a simple and highly secure screw-on mechanism, users can effortlessly unthread the original capsule and replace it with the OMNI-S mid-session, radically altering the mic's acoustic pickup pattern to suit different recording environments.

By switching to an omnidirectional polar pattern, the Sontronics OMNI-S completely opens up the microphone's field of hearing, capturing sound equally from all 360 degrees.
