The Sontronics OMNI-BS is a dedicated, interchangeable omnidirectional capsule designed specifically to expand the capabilities of the acclaimed Sontronics STC-1 and STC-1S small-diaphragm condenser microphones. This innovative accessory allows users to instantly transform their standard cardioid pencil microphone into an entirely different recording tool. Featuring a simple and secure screw-on mechanism, engineers can quickly unthread the original cardioid capsule and replace it with the OMNI-BS mid-session, radically altering the microphone's acoustic pickup pattern without needing to purchase an entirely new mic.

By shifting to an omnidirectional polar pattern, the Sontronics OMNI-BS completely opens up the microphone's field of hearing, capturing sound equally from all 360 degrees. This provides an incredibly natural, immersive audio experience, making it perfect for capturing the organic ambiance and reverberation of a live recording space.
