The Sontronics HALO is a striking dynamic microphone developed by a guitarist specifically for guitarists, engineered to flawlessly capture the true sound of guitar amplifiers and cabinets. Born from a desire to move away from using standard handheld vocal microphones in front of amp grilles, this purpose-built tool delivers both sonically and aesthetically. Its beautiful, vintage-inspired circular design pays homage to the classic broadcast microphones of the 1930s and 40s, guaranteeing that your amp setup will look just as incredible as it sounds, whether in the studio or on a live stage.

Inside its iconic circular frame, a high-quality dynamic capsule is suspended by four mechanical springs. This clever design isn't just for show; it acts as a built-in shockmount, actively isolating the capsule from low-end rumble and stage-borne vibrations that could otherwise muddy your recording. Sonically, the Sontronics HALO is based on the brand's acclaimed STC-80 capsule, but its internal circuitry has been meticulously fine-tuned to capture the exact frequencies, bite, and crunch of electric guitars.
