It is engineered with a more pronounced low-end roll-off and a slightly altered presence peak, specifically sculpted to complement the woody, resonant frequencies inherent to toms. To ensure it can handle the most aggressive playing styles without breaking a sweat, the microphone features a switchable -10dB attenuation pad, enabling it to withstand staggering sound pressure levels of up to 135dB completely distortion-free.
Featuring a strict cardioid polar pattern, the microphone ensures pinpoint isolation of the target drum while effectively rejecting unwanted bleed from adjacent cymbals and other kit pieces.
