A key advantage of the Sontronics CORONA is its tightly focused supercardioid polar pattern. This precise directivity ensures excellent isolation of the sound source directly in front of the capsule, whilst providing class-leading off-axis noise rejection from the sides and rear. This design results in outstanding resistance to feedback, making it an incredibly reliable workhorse on loud, demanding stages. Furthermore, the microphone is engineered with excellent internal shock absorption to minimize unwanted handling noise during energetic performances.
