Sonicware LIVEN XFM is a compact FM synthesizer and groovebox that combines classic FM tones with innovative FM Fusion technology. Equipped with three powerful FM engines — X-LAB, XFORM, and X-LFO — and a built-in 4-track step sequencer with parameter automation, it allows for complete track creation and live performance. With its lightweight design, battery power, and built-in speaker, LIVEN XFM is ideal for both studio use and mobile setups.

The unique FM engines allow seamless blending, morphing, and modulation of different FM timbres. With 6-voice polyphony, over 300 presets, 128 chainable patterns, and deep sound-editing tools, the LIVEN XFM delivers a wide range of sounds — from pads and leads to basslines and drum kits. The sequencer offers 64 steps per track and supports tie, swing, stutter, randomization, and parameter lock for dynamic composition.

Built-in effects include chorus, flanger, delay, bit crusher, reverb, and distortion, alongside LPF, HPF, and band-pass filters. Connectivity is extensive with MIDI In/Out, SYNC In/Out, and stereo audio I/O — also compatible with Teenage Engineering Pocket Operators. Weighing only 790g and with up to 10 hours of battery life, LIVEN XFM is a powerful and portable music workstation.
