Sequential Prophet Rev2 8-Voice Keyboard – 8-voice polyphonic analogue synthesizer with full-size 61-note keyboard, dual DCOs per voice, waveshape modulation, per-layer effects, and an expanded modulation matrix – a modern evolution of the iconic Prophet ’08.

The REV2 builds upon the legacy of the original Prophet '08 by doubling the voice count to 8 voices, enabling rich polyphonic textures, complex chord structures, and layered timbres through stacking or splitting voices. Each voice is equipped with two digitally controlled oscillators (DCOs), offering four waveform shapes, including sawtooth, triangle, a blend of both, and pulse with variable width.

DSI have retained the signature Curtis low-pass filter per voice, now switchable between 2- and 4-pole modes, providing smooth and musical tone shaping. The modulation matrix has been significantly expanded – allowing for deeper and more experimental sound design with more sources and destinations.

The REV2 also includes a powerful polyphonic step sequencer and a bi-timbral architecture, meaning each of the two layers can feature its own effects and patches. Its 61-key semi-weighted keyboard with velocity and aftertouch makes it a versatile performance instrument for advanced players and composers alike.
