Oberheim OB-6 Module – 6-voice true analog desktop synthesizer with dual VCOs, state-variable 2-pole filter, extensive modulation options, stereo effects, and a powerful step sequencer, all housed in a compact module format with full-sized controls and wooden side panels.

The OB-6 Module delivers the legendary Oberheim SEM-inspired sound in a desktop format, retaining the same analog signal path as the keyboard version: two discrete voltage-controlled oscillators (plus sub-oscillator) per voice, a classic 2-pole state-variable resonant filter with low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and notch modes, and a voltage-controlled amplifier. All controls are front-facing, making sound design intuitive and immediate.

Modulation is deep and expressive, with a dedicated LFO offering five waveforms, two ADSR envelopes, and X-Mod capabilities using filter envelope and oscillator 2 as sources. Effects include stereo analog distortion and a dual 24-bit/48 kHz digital engine with reverb, delay, chorus, phaser, flanger, and vintage-inspired ring modulator and phase shifter. A polyphonic step sequencer (up to 64 steps), arpeggiator, and comprehensive MIDI/USB connectivity round out the module’s creative potential.
