sE Electronics VR1 – passive ribbon microphone with extended bandwidth, designed by Siwei Zou. Achieves full 20 Hz–18 kHz range via diffusor mechanics and hand-tensioned ribbon. High SPL (up to 150 dB), figure-8 pattern, low noise. Ideal for guitars, acoustics, drums. Aluminum body, gold-plated XLR. Preamp recommended for quiet sources.

The device excels in detail, warmth, and no HF roll-off, with 1.6 mV/Pa sensitivity.
