sE Electronics V8 Black is a premium dynamic vocal microphone built around the new DMCV8 capsule and a tightly focused supercardioid pattern, developed from the well-regarded sE V7. An all-metal body in Matte Black, a spring-steel grille and an integrated shock mount make it ready for touring. You can compare it with other models in our Warsaw showroom.

Vocals up front on a loud stage

With floor wedges, drums and amps around the singer, every decibel of gain before feedback counts. The V8 supercardioid pattern rejects off-axis sound strongly, so less drum and monitor bleed reaches the vocal channel and the front of house engineer can push the gain without fighting feedback. The DMCV8 capsule, with a neodymium magnet and an aluminium voice coil, delivers more clarity and natural detail than the V7 and sounds open before any EQ. That saves time at soundcheck and makes it easier to work with singers of very different voices.

Built for hundreds of shows

A handheld mic picks up every grip change, and the PA turns it into thumps. The patented integrated shock mount of the V8 reduces handling noise and vibration. The spring-steel grille resists dents and corrosion, and its bevelled edge stops the mic from rolling off an amp or the stage floor. The internal windscreen cuts wind noise and plosives, and a spare black windscreen comes in the box. A gold-plated XLR connector keeps the connection secure night after night.
