sE Electronics Harp Blaster HB52 is a professional dynamic microphone born from the collaboration between two legendary brands: HOHNER and sE Electronics, designed specifically for harmonica players. At its core lies a capsule modeled after legendary vintage microphones, featuring a copper voice coil and neodymium magnet, delivering a warm, thick, and saturated tone that responds perfectly to hand-cupping techniques. Thanks to its high output impedance (High-Z), the microphone directly drives tube amplifiers without the need for additional converters or DI boxes.
The HB52 stands out with its incredibly ergonomic, compact design that fits perfectly in the hand, while the flat grille allows for a tight seal around the instrument to achieve powerful resonance. The solid metal housing features a retro-inspired hammer-tone finish, with chrome details adding a touch of elegance. A built-in Bourns® volume potentiometer allows for precise signal level control with a full off position, while the innovative XLR connector with a locking mechanism and gold-plated contacts ensures reliability on stage.
