RODE WIRELESS PRO

The RØDE Wireless PRO is a dual-channel wireless microphone system featuring two transmitters with built-in microphones, 128-bit encryption, a built-in timecode generator, automatic level management, up to 40 hours of recording directly into each transmitter and a complete charging case.

The Wireless PRO takes the legacy of the legendary Wireless GO series to the next level.

Despite its expanded feature set, the Wireless PRO shares the same pocket-sized form factor as the rest of RØDE’s compact wireless range. The system comes with two transmitters and a receiver and utilises RØDE’s cutting-edge Series IV 2.4GHz digital transmission technology, a proprietary near-zero latency codec and 128-bit encryption to deliver clear and stable audio at ranges of up to 260 metres.

Compatible with cameras, smartphones, tablets, computers and other audio devices via a 3.5mm TRS jack or USB-C port, the transmitter has built-in clips and omnidirectional microphones for ease of use and speed.

32-bit floating-point conversion allows you to record directly to the transmitters without sound clipping, while also providing a backup of your session and, if you don’t have time, you can skip setting gain levels before recording.

Recording to camera
To record audio directly to the camera, the Wireless PRO features GainAssist technology, which uses intelligent algorithms to automatically manage levels, ensuring a balanced output signal and minimizing the risk of clipping. Additionally, there is flexible output signal management with a huge 30 dB gain range, allowing you to precisely adjust the microphone output to your camera. For safety, the Wireless PRO generates a duplicate audio track 10 dB lower than the main signal, in case the main signal is too strong.

Sync
The Wireless PRO features timecode sync, making it incredibly easy to sync audio with video. There’s no need for external timecode systems, as the Wireless PRO has a built-in timecode generator that’s easy to use and syncs audio to any camera.

More possibilities
Both transmitters feature locking output connectors for safety when using external lavalier microphones. The receiver features a power detection function that automatically turns the receiver on and off in sync with the camera, extending battery life. The 3.5mm output on the receiver acts as a headphone output for audio monitoring with output level control, as well as an audio input for a headset or other TRRS microphone. The Wireless PRO can be configured on your computer or smartphone using the RØDE Central app.

The Wireless PRO comes with a comprehensive range of accessories: a charging case with PC data transfer function, 2 x Lavalier microphones II, Magnetic MagClip GO clips, 3 furry windscreens, all the necessary cables to connect to cameras, phones and other devices, and a handy storage bag.
