RODE VideoMic NTG — a hybrid shotgun microphone that bridges the gap between broadcast-grade on-camera mics and professional studio tools. Featuring the same acoustic design as the RØDE NTG5, it delivers transparent, directional audio with low self-noise and wide frequency response, ideal for filmmaking, streaming, podcasting, and voice-over work.

The VideoMic NTG offers highly directional pickup, smooth off-axis rejection, and an innovative digital control interface with adjustable gain, high-pass filter, high-frequency boost, and safety channel. It connects via 3.5 mm TRS output for cameras and TRRS for smartphones and tablets, as well as USB-C for direct recording to computers — no interface required.

Its built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 30 hours of operation and charges via USB-C in just two hours. With automatic power sensing, rugged metal housing, and a Rycote Lyre shock mount included, the VideoMic NTG is one of the most versatile and feature-rich microphones in its class.
