RODE NTG5 Kit is a professional short shotgun microphone package designed for location recording, film production, interviews and boom pole use. It combines a broadcast-quality microphone with a complete accessories kit, offering lightweight design, superb audio quality and field-ready reliability.

The NTG5 is extremely lightweight at just 76 g and only 203 mm in length, reducing fatigue during long boom work. It features an advanced annular-line acoustic port design for natural sound, ultra-low self-noise of approximately 10 dBA, and a supercardioid/shotgun polar pattern for directional capture. Built for challenging environments, it includes RF-bias electronics and conformal coating that provide moisture and dust resistance.
