RØDE NT4 is a professional stereo condenser microphone featuring a fixed X/Y configuration with two precisely matched ½-inch cardioid capsules positioned at 90 degrees. This setup delivers true-to-life stereo imaging and stunning detail, making the NT4 ideal for capturing drum overheads, acoustic guitars, choirs, percussion, and ambient soundscapes with exceptional depth and realism.

The NT4’s wide frequency range (20 Hz – 20 kHz) and high SPL handling (up to 143 dB) allow it to record loud sources without distortion while preserving the nuances of quieter details. Each capsule offers superior off-axis rejection for focused stereo sound, while the JFET impedance converter and bipolar output buffer ensure clean, low-noise performance in any recording environment.

With the ability to operate via 48V phantom power or a 9V battery, the NT4 offers complete flexibility for both studio and field use. It comes with dual stereo cables (XLR and 3.5 mm mini-jack), making it compatible with mixers, recorders, and DSLR cameras. Finished in durable satin nickel, the NT4 includes a WS4 windshield, RM3 mic clip, and ZP2 carrying pouch — everything needed for professional stereo recording right out of the box.
