RODE
RODE NT1 Kit
The RØDE NT-1 is a cardioid condenser microphone with diverse and detailed sound reproduction. The RØDE NT-1 kit includes the NT-1 and the corresponding microphone spider.
Directional characteristicThe NT-1has a cardioid characteristic and therefore only picks up sound from the front. Sound from the rear of the microphone is ignored. The purpose of this characteristic is to pick up the sound source very deliberately and to be able to suppress background and side signals.
Scope of use:The NT-1 is ideal for recording vocals, podcasts and dubbing videos.
Dueto its very low self noise, the NT-1 shines in recording situations with very quiet sound sources.
Antique soundRodehas developed the 'HF6' capsule specifically for the NT1. It is a 1" gold-plated capsule with polarised edges and a vintage sound. Its sound is clearly reminiscent of the legendary classics, but has much less noise (almost no noise at all). Thanks to its collaboration with Rycote, Rode has also taken a completely new approach to suspension - the miniature Lyre sits behind the cage in which the capsule is suspended, thus preventing annoying vibrations from the outset .
