RODE Blimp – advanced windshield system with Rycote shock mounting and integrated Mogami cabling, designed for shotgun microphones up to 325 mm in length.

The Blimp provides superior wind protection and handling isolation for location recording and broadcasting. It features two adjustable Rycote Lyre shock mounts that securely hold shotgun microphones, eliminating mechanical vibrations and handling noise. The system includes a high-quality Mogami XLR cable pre-installed inside the structure, ensuring clean signal transmission. An ergonomic pistol grip with an angle-adjustable XLR connector in the base makes the system comfortable for extended use.

Compatible with RØDE NTG-1, NTG-2, NTG-3, and most shotgun microphones up to 325 mm in length, the Blimp MKII also includes the Dead Wombat fur windscreen for additional wind noise reduction in outdoor conditions.
