RME M-32 AD – 32-channel 24-bit/192 kHz A/D converter with fully symmetrical analog path, TRS 6.3 mm and D-sub 25 (servo-balanced) line inputs, digital outputs via 4× ADAT and MADI optical/coaxial, SteadyClock synchronization, Word Clock I/O, and remote control via MIDI and MIDI over MADI. It features a built-in Analog Limiter per channel and a 32-channel level meter (5 LEDs/channel); the unit is powered internally and uses a temperature-controlled fan.
M-32 AD combines 32 analog inputs (TRS and DB25 – carrying the same signal, not to be used simultaneously) with parallel ADAT and MADI digital outputs. The MADI I/O enables easy cascading (thru-mode) of multiple units with Automatic Delay Compensation, while three selectable reference levels +13 / +19 / +24 dBu ensure seamless integration with studio or installation systems. SteadyClock ensures low-jitter sync from any source (Internal / ADAT / MADI / Word).
The built-in analog limiter prevents overload (threshold ON −3 dBFS) and works transparently under normal conditions. The front panel gives quick access to MADI settings (56/64 ch; 48K/96K Frame), input sensitivity, and clock sections. Over MIDI, users can control fan modes and lock buttons remotely.
