Rhodes MK8/80AE 80th Anniversary Edition is a limited-edition electromechanical Rhodes piano made for the brand's 80th anniversary, in a run of 80 instruments worldwide. It has a 73-note Rhodes Custom all-black keyboard, a gloss-varnished black oak case, a transparent hood and a full set of analog effects as standard.

A collector's instrument that is built to be played

Black varnished tine and pickup rails, chrome tone bars and a hood with a chrome strip create one consistent look, and the legs with their faceted eight-sided profile finish it off. Every unit carries its own 80AE serial plate and a signed certificate of authenticity, and the legs pack into the supplied storage bag for transport.

An analog effects chain built into the instrument

The preamp has a true analog signal path with volume, drive and envelope controls, and an expression pedal steers volume, mid sweep (wah), pan speed and pan depth. The stereo effects processor combines an analog compressor, phaser, chorus and delay with true bypass, and the tri-band equalizer offers ±15 dB plus a sweepable parametric mid. If the product cannot be repaired, it will be replaced with a new one, or in the absence of an available model, we will replace it with an analogous one in the same price range or refund the entire amount that has been paid. The most important thing is that the product is used properly.
