PMC QB1-A Pair is a state-of-the-art 3-way ATL™ active reference monitor designed for the world’s most demanding recording, mixing, and mastering environments. Engineered using advanced opto-acoustic laser interferometry and feedback from top industry professionals, it offers unmatched precision, power, and control. Delivering a colossal 4825 W of amplifier power per channel, the QB1-A achieves a maximum SPL of 132 dB at 1 meter — all while maintaining sonic accuracy and minimal distortion.

The monitor incorporates four 10" carbon fibre/Nomex® piston bass drivers for extended low-end, a hand-built 75 mm soft-dome midrange driver, and a 34 mm soft-dome tweeter with acoustic radiator. Its 2.7-meter ATL™ (Advanced Transmission Line) enables ultra-smooth, accurate bass down to 20 Hz, whether the monitor is soffit-mounted or free-standing. A built-in DSP engine optimizes crossover performance, EQ, and driver integration, while the RJ45 remote desktop controller provides intuitive access to user settings, allowing storage of up to four user-defined presets.

Despite its immense capabilities, the QB1-A is designed to retrofit into standard soffit dimensions, making it a flexible choice for high-end studios upgrading their main monitor systems without extensive reconstruction.
