PMC 15 XBD is the most powerful monitoring system in the new Main Monitor Series, representing the absolute pinnacle of reference studio monitoring. It is an expanded version of the flagship PMC15 model, augmented by an additional XBD low-frequency cabinet (containing a second 15-inch driver). This configuration provides two massive 15-inch (380mm) Radial™ drivers per channel, delivering sound on a monumental scale with infinite headroom and physically tangible bass power, essential for top-tier film scoring stages and mastering suites.

Each of the 15-inch drivers, featuring a triple-wound voice coil and dual-spider suspension, offers extreme linear excursion (36mm), operating within a dedicated ATL™ (Advanced Transmission Line) loaded with LaminairX™ vents. This ensures ultra-low distortion and perfect control even at maximum SPL levels. The system is driven by a hybrid set of digitally controlled amplifiers: the master36 unit (for the main section) and a dedicated power20 amplifier (for the XBD module), delivering a total of over 5600W of power per channel. The entire system is perfectly phase and time-aligned thanks to the advanced SoundAlign2™ DSP engine.
