PMC 10-4 SUB is a dedicated low-frequency module designed as the foundation for the unique PMC10-4 main monitor system. It features four 10-inch (250mm) next-generation bass drivers housing in a single, precision-tuned cabinet. This configuration delivers powerful, fast, and extremely controlled bass, perfectly matched to the characteristics of the main mid-high module. Each driver utilizes a triple-wound voice coil and dual-spider suspension, allowing for a linear excursion of up to 36mm, ensuring zero compression even at extreme output levels.
The module relies on advanced ATL™ (Advanced Transmission Line) technology, which, combined with the LaminairX™ system, eliminates port turbulence noise and ensures clean reproduction of the lowest frequencies. The PMC 10-4 SUB is driven by the external master36 system controller (or additional power20 in extended setups), which integrates Class-D amplification (3600W total) with 32-bit SoundAlign2™ DSP processing. In an XBD configuration, adding a second module increases system headroom and allows for superior room acoustic control, which is critical in professional mastering and post-production studios.
