Phoenix Audio ASCENT-1RMP is a rack panel for the Ascent One preamplifier. It replaces the factory front panel and lets the unit be mounted in a standard 1U space of a 19 inch rack.
A half rack unit moves into the rack
In its standard form the Ascent One sits on the desk taking up space next to the keyboard. The ASCENT-1RMP solves that without adapters or trays: you swap the front for a full width panel, bolt the unit into the rack and get the desktop back. Fitting requires removing the knobs from the unit, but nothing else about the electronics or the signal path is touched.
