NOVATION
Novation Launchkey Mini 25 mk4
Novation Launchkey Mini 25 mk4 is a compact yet powerful DAW controller with a suite of built-in creative tools. Every element is focused on creative making; from the dynamic mini-keyboard and 16 pads with polyphonic aftertouch, to a thoughtfully laid-out control surface with deep DAW integration. Play instruments and drums, launch clips and scenes, and get instant hands-on control over the DAW mixer, devices, and effects. The Launchkey also features a unique, editable Arpeggiator, three chord modes for quick music progressions, scale mode that keeps you in the right key, and a chord detector that shows what chord is currently being played on the OLED display.
Launchkey Mini 25 MK IV
Find inspiration anywhere with the Launchkey Mini 25 - a portable, versatile DAW controller with three octaves of synth mini keys and 16 patented FSR pads for finger drumming, launching clips, and more. The next generation of Launchkey also provides new ways to be creative in your DAW, with hardware synthesizers or on iPhone and iPad. Chord, scale, and arpeggio modes have been expanded to help you stay in key and play in an even more expressive way - all with detailed feedback from a clear, new OLED display.
Enhanced DAW Integration
The Launchkey supports all major DAW software right out of the box, with seamless, custom integration for: Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, Reason Studios, Reaper, FL Studio, and Ardour. This gives you a hardware workflow that provides complete control over transport functions, timeline navigation, mixing, and sound correction, clip launching, and instrument and effect parameters. And when using the session view in Ableton Live or live looping in Logic, the 16 drumpads also serve double duty as Launchpad-style clip launchers with RGB backlighting that perfectly matches what you see on your screen.
More Advanced Creative Tools
The creative tools on the Launchkey Mini 25 are built right into the hardware - so they work the same in your DAW, with hardware synthesizers, or on mobile devices. Scale modes now allow you to lock the keyboard to one of 30 different scales, eliminating wrong notes, and even map everything to just the white keys. The Fixed Chord mode triggers full chords from a single key, and the new chord maps go even further, enabling you to create emotional progressions from the Launchkey pads. And the latest iteration of the beloved arpeggiator makes it easier than ever to twist and mutate your sequences for endless inspiration.
FSR Pads
For finger drummers, the Launchkey now offers patented, pressure-sensitive FSR drum pads with polyphonic aftertouch. Unlike standard pads, each one features a unique radial sensor that increases sensitivity and improves consistency, providing even better performances. They can also be set to trigger chords or single notes with polyphonic aftertouch.
Play Your Way with Custom Modes
The Launchkey controls are not limited to default assignments; simply load the free Components software in your browser and set them up to behave exactly how you want with your software or hardware. You can save up to four custom mappings for both the Launchkey pads and its encoders, then recall them instantly from the hardware to send selected notes, MIDI CC, or program changes.
Step Beyond the Computer
Using the 3.5mm MIDI output of the Launchkey Mini 25, you can easily connect a hardware synthesizer with a simple adapter - no DAW is required. Along with the components and custom mappings, you can take control of all key functions directly from the keyboard. The Launchkey is also USB powered, making it fully compatible with countless music creation apps on iPhone and iPad, including the free Novation Launchpad app.
Everything You Need to Create
The Launchkey Mini 25 includes everything you need to start making music right away. The included Ableton Live 12 Lite allows you to record and perform up to eight MIDI or audio tracks, as well as a suite of instruments, effects, and creative tools - all of which work perfectly with the Launchkey. You also get a selection of additional studio-quality effects and sounds from Novation and Focusrite.
