Neumann V 402
Choose options
Neumann V 402 is a dual-channel microphone preamplifier with DI inputs and an integrated studio-grade headphone amplifier, designed to let Neumann microphones sound exactly as intended.
A transparent front end for great microphones
An expensive condenser only shows its quality through a clean, high-headroom preamp. Each V 402 channel offers 20 to 60 dB of gain, a 20 dB pad for sources up to +28 dBu, polarity, phantom power and a 60 Hz high-pass that removes rumble without dulling the signal.
Monitor right at the source
The built-in headphone amplifier lets the engineer or singer listen directly to the preamp output, which is useful for tracking and for judging microphone placement before the signal ever reaches a converter.
