Neumann U 67 Set is a legendary large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone, reissued to the exact specifications of the original 1960 model. Designed as a true studio workhorse, the U 67 captures vocals, instruments, and entire ensembles with unmistakable warmth, precision, and depth. It remains one of the most versatile microphones ever built, renowned for its natural tone, rich harmonic detail, and smooth top-end response.

The U 67 features a dual-diaphragm K67 capsule with three selectable polar patterns—cardioid, omni, and figure-eight—making it adaptable to any recording application. Its unique frequency response gently rolls off the highs to compensate for close-miking, while a slight low-end boost adds presence and fullness. The EF86 pentode vacuum tube, operating in triode mode, delivers low self-noise and pleasing harmonic saturation, complemented by a custom BV12 output transformer for classic Neumann coloration.

Each U 67 Set includes the microphone, the NU 67 V power supply with selectable voltage (115/230 V), an elastic EA 87 shockmount, and a 10-meter mic cable. Every component, including the capsule, transformer, and tube circuit, is manufactured and assembled in Germany using the original schematics. The result is a faithful recreation of one of the most iconic microphones in recording history—trusted by engineers and artists for over six decades.
