Neumann TLM 170 R mt

Neumann TLM 170 R mt is a large-diaphragm condenser with five polar patterns, a -10 dB pad and a 100 Hz low cut, in matte black. Its patterns can also be switched remotely from the N 248 power supply.

One microphone for every job

Omni, wide cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid and figure-8 cover everything from room recordings and choirs to close vocals and Blumlein pairs. Sensitivity stays the same in every pattern, so switching does not change the gain structure.

Change patterns without touching the mic

With the optional N 248 power supply the pattern is selected remotely over standard phantom power, ideal when the microphone hangs over an orchestra or sits in a booth during a session.
