Neumann TLM 107 Studio Set BK is a reference-class large-diaphragm condenser microphone designed for vocals and instruments with breathtaking realism. With five selectable polar patterns, two low-cut options, and a wide dynamic range of 131 dB, the TLM 107 captures everything — from the softest whisper to the most powerful drum hit — without unwanted noise or distortion.

The TLM 107 represents 21st-century Neumann engineering: a modern, versatile microphone offering high-definition sound quality at an accessible price. Designed for project and professional studios alike, it delivers a neutral sonic image true to the original source, preserving every detail for post-production and mixing. Its clean, conical grille pays homage to Neumann classics like the M 49, while a single navigation button on the rear panel controls all key functions — pad (0 / -6 / -12 dB), low-cut (flat / 40 Hz / 100 Hz), and polar patterns (omni, wide cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid, figure-8).

The newly developed dual-diaphragm capsule ensures an exceptionally linear frequency response and outstanding transient performance across all patterns. This allows switching between pickup modes without tonal coloration — a rare feature among large-diaphragm microphones. As part of Neumann’s TLM series, the TLM 107 employs a transformerless circuit for open, transparent sound and extended low-end response, even at extreme SPL levels up to 141 dB (153 dB with pad). With a self-noise of just 10 dB-A, it remains silent even in the quietest recording environments.

The TLM 107 excels in vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, piano, bass, percussion, orchestral instruments, and voice-over work. Its flexibility, precision, and neutral character make it a true workhorse for both modern and classical recording applications.
